Commissions Terms of Service

This document will run through exactly what our roles and responsibilities are if you wish to start a commission with me.
PRICING AND EXAMPLES
Inking, no tone $20-50 Monotone $50-100
Colour detailed $100-500 Graphic Design $100-500
Prices vary depending on complexity of work, background and number of characters involved.

GENERAL TERMS
I take about 1 week to finish
Require 40% initial deposit, upfront,non-refundable (PAYPAL or EFT payments)
Followed by 30% when you are happy with the progress and direction of the artwork
The final 30% when you are happy with the final product!
EMAIL ME
Email me at artymusoke@gmail.com with the subject line "COMMISSION".- Send a clear, concise brief for the commission. With deadline
- Include reference images
- For characters, a backstory and personality details in the brief please.
- Is digital submission enough or you'll need delivery to a specified location?
- What do you intend to use this artwork for, where will it be displayed?
- Your preferred payment option (PAYPAL or EFT payments)
- Graphic Design will need a breakdown of your Business Profile, target market, where the design will be seen most etc.
PROCEDURE
INITIAL DEPOSIT:- I'll reply with quotation and timeframe for the project.
- Please reply to this and let me know if you can pay to reserve a space for me to begin work ASAP.
- If you can't begin payment, I'm willing to reserve a space
- I start work once Proof of Payment reflects the deposit.
PROGRESS:
- I'll send progress work via email.
- You can ask for a re-do or requests (3-5 major changes).
- Minor changes are free!
- We'll keep going back and forth as I show you progress pics and you give me the thumbs up to continue/make some changes.
- However a complete re-do of the completed work will count as a new commission and I shall charge an extra fee.
- My work requires time and effort. If, at any stage, we have to cancel the commission, then I shall keep the first initial payment to compensate for my time.
- 30% payment due
Once I've finished the commission I will show you low-quality images of it. When you are happy and have payed the remaining 30%, I will send you the high-quality image.
Copywrite Permissions and refunds
This Commission is Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike CC BY-NC-SA
This artwork is created by me, for you alone. If you repost the work anywhere, please give credit back to me. A link to my DA or Instagram page is more than enough.
If you wish to recreate, redistribute and resell the artwork for commercial use then please specify this in the email for a special quotation. See the link below for a quick rundown of copywrite liscense types
If I haven't started or have done partial work on a cancelled commission, then I will give you a refund depending on how far along I am.
If I ever cancel the commission, I will give you a full refund. No matter how far along I am.

Printers Tray idea's anyone?

Okay, so my incredible holiday is now officially over and I'm back to school (damnit). Great thing is school is where i do my more serious ideas and drawings, so I'm hoping my newer works will be all to your liking .
.Anyway, this terms Topic is Printers Tray. We basically are expected to hand in an A2 composition and draw multiple, square windows on it. Each window in it has to house something inside (object, portrait, item) that is close to us, or of relevance. Most people in my class are opting to draw objects that describe who they are, or what they like. I've decided not to go for the literal route and really want to try working with more figurative objects that describe who i am, my hopes, my fears etc
